Zhou Yujiao, a native of Linchuan, Jiangxi Province, comes from a family of ceramic artisans and has devoted over a decade to ceramic craftsmanship. In his early years, he pursued advanced studies in Jingdezhen of Jiangxi and Yixing of Jiangsu, China’s top ceramic production hubs. Drawing on the strengths of diverse ceramic traditions, he ultimately settled in Qinzhou, Guangxi, focusing on the design and handcrafted production of Nixing pottery teapots.

In his creations, Zhou Yujiao boldly integrates sophisticated porcelain-making techniques from Jingdezhen and clay forming craftsmanship of Yixing Zisha pottery, refining the traditional production methods of Nixing pottery. His efforts render Nixing pottery teapots with more exquisite shapes, smoother lines and distinctive characteristics, fostering a unique personal artistic style. Committed to innovation over the years, he strikes a balance between traditional heritage and modern aesthetics, and his works have won numerous prestigious regional and industry awards.
