All focus went to balanced shape, comfortable grip and smooth water flow. Combined with native Nixing clay, this wood‑fired teapot was born, letting you focus on nothing but your tea.

Craftsmanship | Hand‑shaped Clay & Kiln Magic

Made of authentic Qinzhou Nixing clay. Raw clay is thoroughly kneaded to remove air bubbles and impurities. Craftsmen hand‑shape and trim each piece. The wide flat lid is carefully polished to fit tightly against the pot body. Spout and handle are adjusted repeatedly for fast, clean pouring.

This piece is traditional wood‑fired, very different from stable gas or electric kilns. Pine wood serves as fuel. Flames and natural wood ash sweep freely across pots inside the kiln. No one can fully control how fire moves. Under high heat, ash melts and creates natural fire marks, golden speckles and shifting color layers on the surface. Many pieces get ruined during firing. Only a small number survive with satisfying textures. Final trimming completes this handmade teapot.
